Wiltshire, Pool House: Sky-Frame

As the glazing supplier for this exceptional Wiltshire Pool House project, we were proud to provide a key feature that defines the building’s elegant connection with its surroundings: high-performance, frameless Sky-Frame corner-opening sliding doors.
Set within the protected context of Greenbelt land and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the architectural design demanded a light touch—both visually and structurally. Our Sky-Frame system was the ideal solution. The minimal, frameless profiles of the corner-opening units allow uninterrupted views of the countryside, while creating a seamless transition between the interior space and the surrounding garden terrace and pool.
The frameless corner detail, without a supporting post, is a defining feature of this project. It opens up completely, allowing the entire corner of the pool house to dissolve into the landscape during warmer months—transforming the pool house into an open pavilion. In colder months, the precision-engineered Sky-Frame system ensures the space remains well-insulated and comfortable, all while maintaining panoramic views of the grounds.
The result is a refined, modern structure that complements the historic main house, yet remains recessive in the wider landscape thanks to its low-lying form and weathered Cor-Ten cladding. Our glazing solution plays a critical role in supporting both the architectural ambition and the lived experience of the space—delivering high performance, transparency, and a strong connection to nature.
